FAQ'S

Reggae Land is located at the Milton Keynes National Bowl, Watling St, Milton Keynes MK5 8AA. The venue has three entrances.

If you’re arriving on foot, please use the north gate on Chaffron Way. The exact location of the gate can be found on this What3Words link.

For those arriving by taxi or vehicle drop-off, there’s a designated point on Kelvin Drive and exit via Davey Avenue. The location can be found on this What3Words link.

All entrances will be clearly signposted upon arrival at the site.

The event begins at 12PM, with performances starting immediately. The last entry time is strictly enforced at 5PM. We recommend planning your journey and arriving as early as possible to avoid the queues. The event ends at 11PM. Please note, if you choose to leave the event, re-entry will not be permitted.

Absolutely! Reggae Land is a family-friendly festival that welcomes music enthusiasts of all ages! However, to ensure the safety of our younger attendees, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy themselves in a secure environment. So, bring your family and embrace the vibes together!

No, camping is not permitted at Reggae Land. However, there are numerous accommodation options in and around Milton Keynes to suit various budgets and preferences.

No, you can download your ticket to your smartphone using the Skiddle app. However, due to possible signal restrictions in crowded areas, it is recommended to download your ticket in advance or print it out.

We operate a cashless bar system. You can purchase drinks using chip & pin or contactless payment methods. If you plan to bring cash to our festival, you’ll need to exchange it for tokens at our token booth located in the main bowl arena.

Absolutely! At Reggae Land, we offer a diverse selection of food options to satisfy various cravings. With over 70 traders on site, there’s no shortage of choices, including tasty vegan and vegetarian dishes. Whether you’re craving traditional Caribbean cuisine, tantalizing street food, or just a refreshing snack, we have it all! For convenience, we accept chip & pin, contactless payments. Come prepared to eat your fill and keep your energy high for dancing all day long!

Two clearly signposted medical/welfare tents are available on-site. If you or your friends feel unwell during the event, seek medical attention at these locations. Please refer to our site map for their exact placements.

If you need to bring medication that requires storage at the event, please contact us beforehand. If your medication requires injection, it must be stored in the medical tent until administration time. You can reach us at Hello@jbmmusic.com.

Toilets and drinking water facilities are conveniently located throughout the site. A site map will be published closer to the event date and will also be displayed in various locations on-site.
Limited baby changing facilities will be available within the toilet and access areas.

One official merchandise stalls will be located in the main bowl, selling a variety of festival and artist merchandise.

Our dedicated teams of stewards and security are here to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the event. Always ready to assist, don’t hesitate to approach them with any inquiries or concerns. We request your cooperation in complying with any directions provided by our steward and security teams, particularly as the event concludes. Their main objective is to guarantee a seamless and safe experiance for all attendees. Please note that a comprehensive CCTV system operates across the entire event site, contributing to the safety and well-being of all attendees.

For those fortunate enough to appear under 25, we might need you to confirm your age at the event entrance or when buying alcohol, in accordance with our Challenge 25 Alcohol Policy.

Please consider the following as suitable ID:

  • Passport (original, not a photocopy). We accept foreign passports if they’re in good condition and have a photo.
  • Proof Of Age Card – The card must be part of the PASS scheme and include their hologram.
  • Full or provisional photo card driving license issued by the DVLA.

Please remember, if you’re under 18, it’s illegal to buy alcohol. Also, it’s unlawful for anyone to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone under 18.

We want to make sure everyone gets home safely once the festival concludes. Local taxi companies will be notified about our event, but we advise arranging your transportation to and from the festival beforehand. Taxis may be scarce after the event, so planning ahead is crucial. You can find train schedules and taxi company information on our website’s travel page, under the relevant dropdown section. Ensure your safety and plan your trip in advance to end your Reggae Land experience on a positive note!

NO, we do not offer lockers. Please make sure you can carry everything you need on-site.

Personal smartphones are allowed for taking photos and videos. However, professional photography equipment, including DSLRs with detachable lenses, and audio/video recording equipment are not permitted without prior authorisation.

If you lose something during the festival, please visit the Lost & Found booth located near at the welfare are next to the main stage. After the festival, you can contact us at Hello@jbmmusic.com to inquire about lost items.

The festival will go on rain or shine! Please come prepared for all weather conditions. We recommend bringing waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear. Umbrellas are allowed but please be mindful of other attendees.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

Welcome to ReggaeLand 2024! We’re committed to making your festival experience as enjoyable and accessible as possible. Here’s what you need to know about access and facilities.

For those requiring mobility assistance or special accessibility needs, we have a dedicated entrance designed to accommodate these requirements. This entrance can be found at Gate One. We provide a 2:1 ticket scheme for individuals who would be unable to attend without bringing a personal assistant. Once you have purchased a full-price ticket, please provide us with proof of ticket purchase and one of the following forms of available documentation to receive your free personal assistant ticket.

• Access Card with the +1 symbol (for a 2 for 1 ticket)
• DLA/PIP or equivalent (dated within the last 12 months)
• Medical Professionals letter – reviewed case by case
• Deaf or blind registration
• Nimbus Access Card
• Both sides of your blue badge – only accepted as evidence for Disabled parking
• A letter from a doctor or other medical professional confirming you could not attend the festival alone (for 2 for 1 ticket) and/or have a disability or medical condition that requires you to use the car park (for vehicle passes).

Lastly – please provide the name & email address for the carer you would like to attend the event with you, this will be emailed out directly to them.

These documents will need to be emailed to hello@jbmmusic.com alongside evidence of your purchased ticket (order reference will suffice). All documents sent will be kept securely and removed after the applications have been processed. Your application may take up to 5 days to process and you will be sent an email confirmation once complete.

Please Note: Personal assistant tickets come at no extra charge. Please do not buy a ticket for your personal assistant as these tickets will not be refunded.

For those with mobility assistance or special accessibility needs, we have a dedicated entrance through the orange car park. Accessible parking spaces are also available in this area, minimising travel distance.

Understanding the importance of close and convenient parking for those with accessibility needs, we have arranged for dedicated accessible parking spaces. ReggaeLand takes place at The National Bowl, Milton Keynes, MK5 8AA. Please be prepared for varying weather conditions, as the site has both hardstanding and grass-covered areas. In case of rain, conditions may become muddy.

If you require medication during the event, please contact us beforehand at hello@jbmmusic.com with details of your medication and prescription. Any medication requiring injection must be stored at the medical tent until needed.

Accessible toilets are available in multiple areas onsite, including general toilet areas and next to the viewing platform, ensuring convenience for all attendees.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The venue is located on the west side of Milton Keynes and signs around the outskirts will guide you there. Due to high volumes of vehicle and pedestrian traffic going to and from the venue, certain measures will be in place for everyone’s safety. These include residential protections, temporary speed and waiting restrictions around the site. These measures aim to facilitate safe access to and from the event, reduce delays on the highway network, and protect residential areas from public fly-parking or nuisance. Please allow extra time for your journey.

From Milton Keynes Central railway station exit right and walk for 50 metres and then turn right on to a footbridge over the railway line. Make your way following the event signage to the Bowl. You will be taken to Chaffron Way, which has a main entrance. Please bear in mind your return journey to the rail station may take longer due to the number of attendees exiting the venue at the same time. Attendees using rail transport are reminded that it is their responsibility to allow enough time to make the necessary rail connections when leaving the venue.
